CT Contrast Media Syringeless Injector
Ulrich Inject CT Motion™ SPICY
The Ulrich INJECT CT motion is used for the administration of contrast media and saline solution during an examination via computed tomography (CT). The Ulrich INJECT CT motion SPICY is a version of the renowned CT motion contrast media injector from Ulrich medical that has been enhanced with useful new functions. It is used for the automatic administration of contrast media and saline solution during an examination via computed tomography (CT).
Features
Flexible management of contrast media density*NEW
The CD adapt function™ makes it possible to automatically reduce the contrast media density (e.g. for cardiac examinations). At the same time, costs are kept low because lower volumes of contrast media are required.
Simple workflow
Ready for use at any time thanks to verified 24-hour use of the pump tubing and direct injection from original media containers.
24-hour multi-use principle, three media connection points and well-designed accessories
The CT motion SPICY is a version of CT motion that has been enhanced with new functions. As a result, the injector offers all the advantages associated with the operating principle behind the standard CT motion.
Rapid patient changeover
Ready to use again straight away: Detach patient tubing, connect new patient tubing.
Efficient contrast media management
With two contrast media slots and the Seamless and Tandem functions, the choice is yours: Either switch automatically between two identical contrast media or use one of two different contrast media at the touch of a button.
Hygienic and safe
Safe for your patients thanks to double ventilation monitoring and lower risk of contamination thanks to a closed system.
Clear, precise display of remaining quantity*NEW
The intuitive traffic signal display and clear media volume display, including the precise number of millilitres left, makes for an efficient workflow. It also saves you money because the amount of contrast media for disposal is reduced to a minimum.
Increased pressure and flow performance*NEW
For examinations with high flow rates and high contrast media viscosity, the injector can apply pressure of up to 22.4 bar for improved pressure and flow performance.
Save valuable time: Simply insert the 24-hour pump tubing, connect the patient tubing and connect the media container.
Save money: No Syringe costs and the efficient management of contrast media with minimal remainders results in low overall operating costs. The efficient workflow saves time, helping you to achieve higher patient throughput.
Save waste and protect resources thanks to lower consumption of disposables and contrast media.
The SYNCopen software option offers the simple, safe single-touch start-up of the examination, as well as the precise synchronisation of the CT scan and contrast medium injection.
The CT motion disposables comprise only two parts – the 24-hour pump tubing and the patient tubing. This makes it easy and fast to use. In combination with the 24-hour multi-use principle, cost and time savings are no longer just wishful thinking.
With accessories such as trays, waste bins and drip cups, you can manage the examination preparation and follow-up quickly and with ease. This means you always have the right equipment at hand, and you can dispose of used tubes and other materials quickly and safely.
The CT motion features dual-air detection technology, thus helping to boost patient and user safety. With air monitors for both the pump tubing and patient tubing, any potential air bubbles are detected, and the injection is automatically stopped. This reduces the risk of air injection.
The intuitive CT motion user interface makes it quick and easy to use the equipment. New team members can also switch between patients quickly thanks to the single-touch operation.
The integrated heater maintains a consistent temperature of the contrast media, thus improving viscosity for the injection.
Various manual steps are no longer required thanks to the automatic scanning of media labels via barcode reader and the automatic data transfer of NaCl and contrast media parameters to the PACS and/or data management system. This saves time in documentation and reduces error sources. This function is an expansion of the Ulrich medical RIS/PACS Interface.
Compatibility with 1 L GE contrast media Pluspak offers the ideal media supply for high patient throughput. This means that a total of 4 L (2 x 1 L contrast media + 2 L NaCl) can be made readily available. The integrated heater improves contrast media viscosity and increases patient comfort.
Even if your day-to-day radiology practice runs smoothly, there always comes a point when your contrast media container is empty. Then you can benefit from our Seamless function. The injection is continued automatically, with no interruptions, from the second identical contrast media connected to the system. This also reduces waste, helping to contribute to a more sustainable, cost-effective examination process.
The media connection points can be equipped with two different contrast media. If another contrast medium is required in the examination, you can simply switch to the second media connection point. Thanks to a special rinse program, there is no need to change the 24-hour pump tubing.
High flexibility even for smaller examination rooms. Available on a Pedestal (12 hr lithium battery during load shedding) and with a Ceiling mounting (for smaller rooms/space saving) (add 2 images)
