From 24–26 September 2026, Cape Town will welcome clinicians, researchers and healthcare industry professionals to ENDO 2026, the 5th World Congress of GI Endoscopy.
Held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, this will be the first time the congress takes place on the African continent. Understanding the IC-Flow™ Imaging System
Developed by Diagnostic Green, the IC-Flow™ Imaging System is a compact, handheld near-infrared imaging system designed to visualise and record Indocyanine Green fluorescence in human tissue.
When Indocyanine Green for Injection—also known as ICG or Verdye—is appropriately administered, near-infrared light is applied to the tissue or organ of interest. The ICG emits fluorescence, which is detected by the IC-Flow™ camera and displayed on the system’s controller.
This enables healthcare professionals to view the distribution and intensity of ICG fluorescence as an adjunctive method of visual assessment during open procedures.
Designed for a Practical Imaging Workflow
The IC-Flow™ Imaging System brings together a power unit, controller, camera cable, handheld camera and stand.
Illumination and image sensitivity can be adjusted through the controller or directly on the camera. The system also supports the capture of photographs and video, with options for transferring recorded data.
Its compact format allows the system to be incorporated into different clinical environments without requiring an extensive equipment footprint.
